Travel Gadgets On The Go - "My daughter's MSi Wind U135DX-n455 PINK..."

Hey guys! Do you have kids? We have come to this time where people rely on technologies anywhere they go! It's amazing to find out how my 9 year old daughter have discovered a lot of things on her own.... I know, I know, you have stories to tell too! Modern cellphones like iPhone, digital cameras, Laptops, Nintendo, Pocket-Wifi  and a lot more!  Would you believe my daughter will never go out with out all these in her little carry bag?

Yes! She's that techie already! She's so skillful and admirable! So, here it comes.... I am a traveling mom and I always blog what ever comes interesting for me. My way to keep mind busy and working. My girl wasn't happy browsing on her iPhone alone so, she would always rush me just to use my little notebook and I suffer because I had to wait for 4 hours before I can write or even use my little companion (the notebook computer).

So I decided to get her own. Off we went to Formosa Computers along Rizal Avenue and found the perfect notebook for her!!! She loves pink and she adores "SHARPAY Evans" from High School Musical. Sharpay Evans is one of the main characters in the series and serves the purpose of antagonist. She is portrayed by actress ASHLEY Tisdale.
So......finally we bought her new MSI Wind u135DX-n455 PINK! My daughter was very happy! Very excited that she immediately use her new notebook computer while eating lunch at Jolibee, Rizal Ave.

Here are the features that I personally liked about this notebook: "10 Quality Tests done by the Manufacturer".

~Keyboard/touchpad life test:  Passed 1 million times typing test. Guaranteed long life of the keyboard and touchpad.
~I/O port life test:  5,000 continual USB port insert tests were done to efficiently prevent the notebook from breaking down after long time use.
~Hinge life test:  Passed 20,000 times of continual open-close tests. This notebook is ensured will not be damaged after using at least 6 years.
~Shock and vibration test:  Passed the 5~500 Hz, 0.5 Grms of shock and vibration tests. Guaranteed notebooks will operate optimally, even after shock damage, such us which occurs during transportation.
~Weight and pressure test:   Passed the 25 kg single-point stress test in order to avoid any possible that may happen if unexpected pressure were applied, for example, by heavy goods.
~ESD test:  ESD test to simulate environments of dry and cold weather in order to efficiently remove the damage of static electricity which may occur. Passing this test, notebooks are able to maintain normal system operation and protect your health from too much static electricity exposure. (this is very important for me...)
~Temperature and humidity test:  Passed the storage test of temperature (-10degCC~65degC) and humidity (40%~80%). This is important when were traveling internationally. We can be exposed to changes in temperature.
~Passed System performance test: Assures system reliability of this notebook, even after long time use.
~Drop test:  Manufacturer promise this notebook will not be injured in case of sudden drops.
~Acoustic test:  Passed acoustic test of 30dBA, enjoy using this notebook without noise interference.

"Fashion & Life Style"... on Kate Middleton...

Oh My God!  Yes! That was my initial reaction when I read this article.... The news actually talks about Kate Middleton being an instant fashion icon on the couple's visit with Pres. Obama and his First Lady Mrs. O. But, my reaction was with Prince William's look!  His eyes are gorgeous!  I just can't stop myself from blogging about it haha!

Do-It-Yourself Honda Bay Tour!!!

This is the first tour I've been very excited to blog about!!! I planned this tour last Friday (20th May), I talked to one of the trikes parked at NCCC mall and booked my transportation going to Sta.Lourdes Wharf.  So, for only P300.00 Kuya Erick will pick me up from BM Road on the 23rd and will pick us up in the afternoon of the same day. So, come Monday (which is this day I'm blogging this), we we're picked up @ exactly 8:00 AM and reached Sta. Lourdes wharf after less than 15minutes. Kuya Erick advised us to book our boat from the tourist counter.
Ask for a form to be filled up by the passengers of the boat.

Booking counter.

Waiting area for booking passengers going to Honda Bay.

Firs, you go to the counter where most people are queing. Ask for the form to fill-up, then for one boat you have to pay P1,300.00. If you're with a group it will be less expensive since you will split the cost. There's only the 3 of us, but it's okay.  After that, I paid P50.00 each so, total of P150 for our entrance fee to Starfish Island.  Most Islands have fees ranging from P25.00 to P50.00 except for Snake Island which is FREE.
Our first stop was Starfish Island.... it was marvelous! The island was set up for your picture taking pleasure and our Kuya Dhoy who assists the boat captain was very willing to take our photos. He's good and  well trained I guess!  We lavished our first arrival on one of the Honda Bay Islands. There are cottages surrounding the island but we decided to have our lunch on our next Island.

Of course! The STARFISH Island!

My daughter running after me @ Starfish Is...

My mom and daughter walking gracefully...
That's me walking! oooops this picture should go with SNAKE Island's...
A storm building up... another photo for SNAKE Is....
A view of Starfish Island.

Our next stop was SNAKE ISLAND. In here, there's lots of stores to buy food stuff, be it snacks like "Halo-Halo" or even for your lunch!  So, I ordered for grilled fish (fresh fish grilled by Kuya Dhoy), @ P250.00 per Kilo and a cup of rice, you're lunch is done! So, if you forgot to pack lunch.... no need to worry, there's your friendly convenience in the island!

Last on our tour was ISLA PANDAN....

I think this was the most beautiful among the tree Islands we've been. I paid P50.00 for the entrance fee (x 3). Then, we didn't get a cottage because they're P400.00 per cottage. Since we just plan to have our last swim and then go have a shower, we didn't bother for a cottage. We went swimming straight!  If you're tired there's a bunch of staff for an hour of relaxation, you can have a massage just fronting the beach! Sorry, I didn't ask for the cost!

Before we decided to end our Island Hopping, I took last photos as I noticed an  uncanny lighting or could be an unusual glare from the sun, and a bit of darkness from other parts of the island.  Maybe it's because of the storm building up.  So, I told my daughter I had to take a photo of this and there you go! A bright and amazing photo of Pandan Island!

..."First Cashew Festival in Palawan"

Cashew industry in Palawan contributes up to 90% of the country's total cashew production.  The ones you buy and see in Antipolo is basically harvested from Palawan and the top 3 municipalities that is producing cashew are El Nido, Roxas and Dumaran.

Today I visited the 1st Cashew Festival held at Mendoza Park. Sadly, the place was empty.  We tried several products and they're really special.  One booth that I liked most was "Celet's House of Chocolates and Flavored Cashew". Too bad the festival will last only until tomorrow (22nd May). So, I grabbed 10 packs of differently flavored Cashew Nuts. I tasted all of them and they're amazingly crispy, fresh and there's no oil after taste. Just the freshness and brittleness of cashew. Even when flavored the natural taste of cashew that is enticing our taste buds are still there.  I recommend you try this! Their product is way way different from taste, crispness from the ones we usually buy from the market and even inside NCCC.

My Favorite!!!  Yummy!

Spicy Cashew, Barbeque Flavored & Garlic Flavored Cashew

These chocolates are not too sweet, just enough to savor it's creaminess and ofcourse with cashew nuts' twist.
